Chlamydia Trachomatis Treatment in Pregnancy

  • erythromycin base 500mg orally qid for 7 days 1,2 OR
  • azithromycin 1g single dose (B1 in pregnancy*) 1,2 OR
  • amoxycillin 500mg tds for 7days 1,2

Always perform a test-of-cure: either LCR/ PCR at least three weeks after completion of treatment or culture at completion of treatment.
