The Healthscope Functional Pathology Team is dedicated to providing exceptional service of the highest standard to all of our customers.
The team of experienced Pathologists and Medical Scientists, including Cytologists, Haematologists, Microbiologists, Biochemists and Analytical Chemists offer a diversity of skills that enables us to perform an extensive range of analytical and diagnostic services.
The Technical Team
At Healthscope Functional Pathology we are committed to providing superior technical support to our practitioners. We have experienced Technical Consultants available for practitioners to discuss appropriate test selection, interpretation of test results, individual cases and related clinical issues. The Technical Team is committed to assisting practitioners in their clinical understanding and management for each patient result.
Jacqui Evans ND
Technical Manager
Jacqui Evans has been an integral part of the Technical Team since 2002. With her extensive Naturopathic clinical experience combined with 8 years of developing and promoting Functional Pathology, Jacqui has accrued a wealth of knowledge on the value of laboratory testing in the clinical practice of Functional Medicine.
As Technical Manager, welJacqui manages the Technical Team and runs the Practitioner Education Programme, working to bring together leading Functional Medicine practitioners to deliver the highest standard in educational conferences and workshops.
Jacqui is committed to the field of laboratory testing for Functional Medicine practitioners and providing excellence in technical and educational support.
Hannah Williams B.Sc(Psych): Dip Nat & Herb Med
Senior Technical Advisor
As our Senior Technical Advisor, Hannah's role is to assist practitioners in test selection and results interpretation, as well as other technical and clinical matters.
Hannah is a qualified Naturopath and Herbalist and has been involved in the Functional Medicine industry for several years. Her experience includes clinical practice as well as managing a bust dispensary and multi-disciplinary natural health practice in Auckland, New Zealand. Hannah has a strong interest in research and commitment to further education in Functional Medicine.
Nicola Reid B.A. Comm; ND; HD; MPH
Senior Technical Consultant
Nicola has been our Technical Consultant since 2004. Her role includes research and writing technical material, technical support, practitioner education and marketing.
Nicola has worked as a Naturopathic practitioner, seminar presenter, lecturer and clinical supervisor in the Functional Medicine industry for the past 19 years. She completed a Master of Public Health in 2005.
Nicola's previous background was in journalism and public relations. She is committed to a high standard of research and education for Functional Medicine practitioners.
Melissa Copeland B.HSc ND
Technical Advisor
Melissa is the latest addition to the Technical Team. She previously worked in general pathology with ARL Pathology for 3 years. Melissa is a qualified Naturopath and assists practitioners with test selection and results interpretation.
