How to use us
As a practitioner, how do I start using Healthscope Functional Pathology laboratory tests?
- Order a Request Pad from Healthscope Functional Pathology. This is personalised to include each practitioner's individual details and provides the list of tests and their costs.
- Give the patient a signed request form and have them order and pay online from the Patient Ordering page or contact Healthscope Functional Pathology on our toll free number 1300 55 44 80 or +61 3 9529 2922 between the hours of 8.30am and 5.30 pm (EST) to order and pay for their test kit. The patient will receive their test kit via Express Post or courier within 48 hours.
- The patient collects the specimen and this is posted or couriered to Healthscope Functional Pathology from anywhere in Australia or Overseas.
- Specimens are analysed and the results sent directly to practitioners. Results are available to practitioners online on the Online Results page and can be downloaded electronically or sent by mail or fax.
- Healthscope Functional Pathology provides technical support to practitioners only. Patients are referred back to their practitioner for results interpretation.
